Our story

In 1990, after years of mentoring with different pizzerias, Alex Ermatinger developed a passion for the food industry. He then created dough and sauce recipes and bought his very own pizza shop in Sunset, Utah. He named his store after his newborn niece, Allison. Our little shop quickly became a local favorite! Ally’s pizza rolls and candy counter has become a childhood memory of many in the local area. Our store has been run since day one by a team including many of Alex’s immediate and extended family members and their friends and family.

In 2022, Alex Ermatinger, after owning and operating Ally’s Pizza for more than 30 years, decided to hand down his legacy to the next generation- his great-nephew and his wife, who had been working in the store for several years and were passionate about keeping the family tradition alive. We at Ally’s pizza are thrilled to continue creating memories with our beloved community who has shown us so much love, for so very long. Thank you all.
